Gujarati Dal Dhokli


Ingredients

1 cup tuver dal

1 and 1/2 cup wheat flour
Salt
Jeera powder
Turmeric powder
Chily powder
Oil
Asafoetida(Hing)
Brown Mustard seed(Rai)
Jeggary
1 and 1/2 Lemon

How to make


  • Boil tuver dal in cooker make 3 whistle of cooker.
  • Prepare Dough , take wheat flour in one pan , add salt , oil , turmeric powder,jeera powder,chilly powder and add water and make soft base dough.

  • Now when tuver dal is boiled in cooker 
  • blend it in cooker and put it on gas slow flame  ,and add salt , turmeric powder , cumin seeds powder , jeggery , lemon juice.
  • Now mix it well and leave it and mean while make roti's from dough and cut the roti in small size's
  • Add one by one roti's pieces in dal
  • Now put some oil in small pan when it heat add brown mustard seed(Rai) ,add asafoetida(Hing),add chilly powder and these all add it in dal
  • Mix the dal and cover it and make 2-3 whitshle and you have done


Dal Dhokli is ready , you can enjoy it with rice.
